Well, we are waiting with BAITed breath (get it... Broadwell Archaeological Investigation Team) to hear from HLF with regard to funding application...any day now.
Meanwhile we have attracted a total of £2250 of match-funding. Our lucky sponsors are Peugeot, Heart of England Community Funding and CBA Challenge Funding. Not a bad result for someone new to the job. We are still waiting on The Roman Society who only meet once a year in March, so fingers crossed we are successful there as well.
Personally I can't wait to get started. I've handled all the finds (and we do have some beauties), read through all the documents we have and now I just want to make sense of it all. Is there a villa out there, and if so where????
